Founded in 1968 by Dwight and Jeanne Gnepper, Tiffin Aire, Inc. began as a small operation at Seneca County Airport with just three employees, two single-engine aircraft, two hangars, and an office. In 1989, ownership transitioned to Brad and Kim Newman, and by 1996, Tiffin Aire expanded its offerings to include aircraft charter, flight instruction and rental, aircraft sales, aircraft maintenance, parts and oil sales, and propeller/governor sales and service. Over the years, the company’s product line continued to grow, adding de-ice boot sales and installation, along with the introduction of the Tiffin Aire Tug.
Now owned by Hartzell Propeller, LLC, of Piqua, Ohio, Tiffin Aire continues its proud legacy, specializing in propeller maintenance, governor services, aircraft maintenance, and parts and oil sales, all upheld by the Built on Honor promise.
